Training

According to our “philosophy” the most important support function should be:

Train the customer's service engineers on the same level as our own service engineers.

Therefore, Seismic Instruments, Inc. offers a 2-week training course for 2-people at our Austin facility free of charge.

We believe that well trained field personnel are the key to a smooth and successful operation in the field.

Warranty

12-months for the whole system from the day of acceptance. This will also cover all replacement parts made during warranty period. Electronic circuit boards, manufactured by SI, will have an extended 2-year warranty period.

No warranty shall apply in case the products are used outside their normal use conditions or in case of lighting, misuse, defective maintenance, negligence, fault, repair, modifications or replacements by Buyer or a third party, integration of components, sub-assemblies or assemblies non certified by SI into products, or connections to equipment non approved by SI.

Repairs

Before sending anything back for repair, all hardware or software malfunction of the system should be reported to Seismic Instruments, Inc. immediately in writing to:

Then Seismic Instruments, Inc. will determine where the repair will be done. All repairs must be carried out by Seismic Instruments, Inc. repair facility or by authorized service center. Currently all repair is done in Austin, Texas. However, we are building additional authorized repair centers in China and Hungary to serve the need of different geographical location and time zones better.

Only Seismic Instruments, Inc. trained personnel are authorized to perform repair. Customer should obtain an RMA number from Seismic Instruments, Inc. Then send the package along with “COMMERCIAL INVOICE” with prepaid shipment to the following address:
